Yash and Ajay Devgn are set to face off at the box office with Toxic and Dhamaal, a blockbuster clash in the making!
After the blockbuster run of KGF Chapter 2, Yash is all set to return with Toxic, a film that has long been in the works and is already creating waves in the entertainment industry.
It’s now well confirmed that the grand release is lined up for Eid next year. What makes it even more exciting is its box office clash with Ajay Devgn’s Dhamaal 4, hinting at a massive face-off.
Toxic VS Dhamaal 4 Box Office
The release date for Toxic was officially set for March 19, 2026, back in March. The timing isn’t random, it falls during a festive stretch that includes Eid, Chaitra Navratri, Gudi Padwa, and Ugadi.
Given Yash’s rising stardom after KGF, the Eid window is ideal for a big box office splash.
Eid 2026 initially looked like a solo opportunity for Toxic, especially after the buzz that Love & War had been delayed.
But that solo status didn’t last long, as the Dhamaal 4 team confirmed their arrival on the same festive date, paving the way for a box office showdown.
Is Prabhas’ Milestone Unreachable for Yash This Time Around?
Kicking off his pan-India journey with Baahubali in 2015, Prabhas garnered ₹120 crores in the Hindi market. This was followed by the monumental success of Baahubali 2, which raked in ₹511 crores.
His next release, Saaho, contributed ₹149 crores. Combined, his first three Hindi-dubbed films collected a staggering ₹780 crores at the box office.
Starting his pan-India journey with KGF Chapter 1, Yash earned ₹44.09 crores in Hindi, while KGF Chapter 2 skyrocketed his popularity with an impressive ₹434.62 crores.
These two films together total ₹478.71 crores. To overtake the Hindi earnings of Prabhas’ initial three films, Yash will need an additional ₹301.30 crores
Now, With no competition, Toxic could have easily crossed ₹300 crores in the Hindi market. However, Dhamaal 4 entering the Eid frame changes the equation.
As one of Bollywood’s most beloved comedy series, it’s likely to draw significant attention, possibly affecting Toxic’s box office potential. This may dim Yash’s chances of beating Prabhas’ early Hindi film tally.
