The biggest moment for the film has been when Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself lauded the director Vivek Agnihotri for all his courage to bring such a film to show the truth that was hidden fore the last 32 years.

The Kashmir Files stars Anupam Kher and others including Pallavi Joshi, Bhasha Sumbli, Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumar and others in their respective pivotal roles.

It’s based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits which happened on January 19, 1990. As the film is loaded with truth and real happening, it is getting all the love and appreciation from the masses.

In fact, The Kashmir Files has become so popular that most morning and evening shows are booked in advance. You can see a huge crowd in cinema halls, especially over the weekends.

In terms of the box office collection, the Anupam Kher starrer has grabbed a whopping Rs 60 crore in a span of 5 days of its release.

If the trend continues to go like this, there is no big deal that ‘The Kashmir Files’ could earn Rs 100 crore within a few more days.

The Kashmir Files Fraud Worth Rs 30 Lakh Comes to Light

Since The Kashmir Files has already created havoc on various social media platforms, the film is now being misused by some conmen.

The latest reports in this regards say that Noida Police constantly warning WhatsApp users against a fraudulent link which is being circulated. It’s being claimed that the link relates to the ‘free movie download’ for The Kashmir Files. But it ends up in a fraud.

Recently, an incident has happened where a fraud of worth Rs 30 Lakh has been reported by Noida police.

This is what Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Noida) Ranvijay Singh stated, “There has been no specific case here yet in which the movie’s name has been used but there are inputs regarding such methodology being used by conmen for hacking into people’s phone or duping them of money.”

He added, “Most recently, three people approached the police within a period of a 24 hours from just one police station with similar complaints of cyber fraud, in which they ended up losing a combined ₹30 lakh,” he added.

 

 

Many Bollywood celebrities including Akshay Kumar has recently praised the film and said that he liked watching The Kashmir Files.

This is what he wrote on his Twitter handle, “Hearing absolutely incredible things about your performance in #TheKashmirFiles @AnupamPKher. Amazing to see the audience back to the cinemas in large numbers. Hope to watch the film soon. Jai Ambe.”
