The Buckingham Murders to Release In Original Hinglish & Dubbed Hindi Versions, Following Delhi Belly & Dhobi Ghat Model

Recently, the film’s team released two teasers, one in English and the other in Hindi. This is what teh source revealed, “Since the story is set in Buckingham, England, the original Hinglish version features local actors speaking in English, while Indian actors deliver their dialogues in Hindi with an accent to maintain authenticity.”

As per the insights, “Since some viewers may struggle with extensive English dialogues or accented Hindi, a dubbed Hindi version will also be available. This version will translate all English and accented Hindi lines into clear Hindi, making it accessible for a wider audience.”

Aamir Khan has used this strategy in the past for films like Dhobi Ghat (2011) and Delhi Belly (2011), where releasing both Hinglish and Hindi versions helped improve the films’ box office success.

The Buckingham Murders is set to release in theaters on September 13, 2024. Starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, the film also features Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen.

Directed by Hansal Mehta, with a screenplay by Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker, it is a collaborative production by Mahana Films and TBM Films.

The movie is presented by Balaji Telefilms and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan, marking her debut as a producer.
