Since lockdown, everything looks dismantled. This is exactly the case with our film industry too as the makers have no option but are forced to take some unwanted decision to keep things moving smoothly.
We’re talking in the context of South film maker Thala Ajith who was previously going all busy with so much work on his head. But after the COVID-19 pandemic switched into the lives of people, everything looked faded.
Before lockdown, Ajith had to work in an extensive schedule with one of the directors named Siva.
Soon after the completion of his projects with Siva, he joined hands with another director H Vinoth for the making of films like Valimai and Paarvai.
Talking about the shooting of Valimaai, it could not be completed due to the ongoing complications raised after the coronavirus attack.
The shooting of this film started actually started in December 2019 and everything was already planned to take the film towards completion.
As per a report in this regard, the Valimai team had completed almost 40% of the shooting for the film in the month of December.
The Tamil language action thriller stars Ajith in the lead role of a cop while Karthikeya and Huma Qureshi are playing their respective prominent roles.
After the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire shooting schedule had to be postponed including the shoot at foreign locations which is not possible any longer.
The makers have now only once option left which is to shoot the foreign location scenes back in India. This is the reason why the Thala Ajith’s team is planning to take some major changes in the shooting schedule.
It all happened when the renowned director H Vinoth had earlier decided to go ahead to shoot a few race scenes in countries like Morocco and Spain which is not possible in the present circumstances.
The shooting for the film is expected to re start after things start coming to the normalcy. Please note that Valimai is being produced by none other than Bony Kapoor under his own banner titled Bayview LLP Projects.
Earlier, the film was expected to be released on Diwali 2020. But now, it looks quite impossible to complete the film before the deadline.
