It was only a few days ago when Tamil Nadu (TN) govt. has agreed to allow theatres run with 100% occupancy.
After this decision, many celebrities and film makers had welcomed the decision of the state govt. But now, the govt has revoked the order, especially after high court’s warning.
Previously. center had also disapproved the idea of 100% occupancy in theatres, especially after TN govt agreed to open theatres with 100% occupancy.
Reacting to the above decision of the state government, the fans of Vijay and Silambarasan TR didn’t welcome the decision of the state govt and demanded reconsideration in their order.
Now, after the state govt of Tamil Nadu has revoked the decision of theatres with 100% occupancy, there are many personalities and film stars who never wanted this to happen as they had earlier welcomed the decision.
The revoke of the decision by TN govt will be a big blow to those who welcomed the state govt’s decision to go with 100% occupancy rates in theatres. Susienthiran and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Eeswaran’ look all set to hit the big screen on the occasion of Pongal.
Right after the central government’s approval for theatres to run with 50% occupancy rates, TN govt decided to reopen theatres with 100% occupancy.
But soon, the state govt of TN had to witness center’s disapproval and the High Court’s warning on it’s decision, it had to cancel the permission given to theatre and multiplexes owners to go ahead with 100% occupancy rates.
