Taapsee Pannu Starrer Dobaaraa Shows Only 2-3% Occupancy

After Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha’s failure at the box office, it’s the turn of Taapsee Pannu Starrer Dobaaraa which is moving in the same direction.

On the opening day, the film only managed to grab an occupancy of 2-3%. The film stars Pavail Gulati and Taapsee Pannu in their lead roles.

Dobaaraa is directed by Anurag Kashyap. The film released on Friday, August 18, 2022. Even though Taapsee was lauded for her performance in the film, it simply failed to generate curiosity among the audience to watch the film.

And perhaps, this is one of the reasons why the film only managed to grab an occupancy of 2-3% in theatres on day 1. Due to this, a number of early shows had to be cancelled.

Dobaaraa Receives Low Occupancy, Several Shows Cancelled

A trade analyst by the name Sumit Kadel revealed that most of the Dobaaraa shows are being cancelled. This is what he tweeted, “#Dobaaraa is off to a DISASTROUS start at the box office, film is registering merely 2-3% occupancy while many early shows are getting canceled due to NO AUDIENCE..(sic),” he tweeted.

While predicting the box office collection of the film, he shared it may collect only Rs 20-35 lakh on its opening day. In the same way, the lifetime collection of the fil will remain somewhere in the range of Rs 1.25 to 1.50 crore.
