Sunil Grover had to undergo a bypass surgery after he suffered a heart attack. After the surgery was conducted, it was revealed that he had blockages in 3 major arteries.
Famous actor and comedian Sunil Grover who’s known for his comic roles as Guthhi and Dr Mashoor Gulati had to be admitted to a hospital after he complained chest pain.
He was then shifted to Mumbai’s Asian Heart Institute. It was later revealed that he suffered a heart attack due to the blockage in as many as three arteries.
While treating Sunil Grover, doctors came to know that he was also positive for COVID-19. He was soon stabilized with some medicines until angiogram could be carried out.
Sunil Grover Suffered A Heart Attack With Blockage In 3 Arteries
It was on January 8 when Grover was taken to hospital after he complained of having chest pain. The report said that he had blockages in all 3 major arteries.
And so, he had to underwent as many as 4 bypass surgeries using both internal mammary arteries from inside his chest.
Sunil Grover was treated by Dr Ramakanta Panda who said, “Since he has received all arterial grafts using internal mammary arteries his long term results should be good and will be able to lead a normal life in the long term with proper care which should include proper diet, exercise, yoga and medicine. He is a positive person with a bright outlook to life.”
After knowing his condition, Simi Grewal on Wednesday shared a tweet raising concern about his health. She extended her best wishes to the actor-comedian.
This is what she wrote, “Am shocked that @WhoSunilGrover has had heart surgery. Filling our hearts with laughter and joy..at the cost of his own. I pray he recovers fast. He has a formidable talent.. and I’m a huge fan!!”
The current status is that Sunil Grover has been discharged from the hospital. He was even filmed outside Mumbai’s Asian Heart Institute on Thursday. And this is somewhat a happy news for all his fans out there who were praying for his health.
