Sivakarthikeyan last film directed by Nelson Dilipkumar is Doctor which is creating ripples across the entire industry. Right after the film’s release it started receiving positive reviews both from the audience and critics.
The same is happening at the box office too. The latest about Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Doctor’ is that it has surpassed the Rs 70 crore mark at Tamil Nadu (TN) box office.
If you look at the worldwide collection of the movie, ‘Doctor’ has grossed over Rs 100 crore at the world wide box office to achieve the milestone of highest grossing film Sivakarthikeyan.
Although, the film was released on October 8, it still holds some screens across the state as the fun riot has been receiving a good response from the audience. Right from the beginning, the makers wanted to release the film in theatres. And now, since it was made to hit screen, it has managed to perform as per the expectation.
‘Doctor’ stars Priyanka Mohan and Sivakarthikeyan in their lead roles. Others who star in the film include Redin Kingsley, Archana, Yogi Babu and Vinay.
The film is all about the menace of girl child trafficking. It shows how Sivakarthikeyan fights with this racket to save them. It’s produced by KJR Studios in association with Sivakarthikeyan’s SK Productions.
