Singham Again happens to be one of the most awaiting films of 2024. It all happened on September 16 when it’s making kicked off in Mumbai. It started with the film’s Mahurat in the presence of the ace director Rohit Shetty along with Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn.
The film’s Mahurat was held at the Mumbai’s YRF Studios. Soon after the opening ceremony, the pictures went viral. It’s known that Akshay Kumar will also be a part of the film who shared his good wishes for the film.
Singham Again: Milap Zaveri Teams Up With Rohit Shetty for the Upcoming Film
Apart from the above, another interesting news came forward according to which Milap Zaveri has joined hands with Rohit Shetty in the making of the film.
Milap Zaveri is known for directing commercial entertainers and writing some massy dialogues. He will also be a part of the Singham Again.
Since Zaveri has already penned the dialogues, he will join the team of writers besides Shantanu Srivastava and Yunus Sajawal.
It was Milap Zaveri who first shared the pictures of the making of Singham Again where he can be seen posing with Rohit Shetty. This is what he shared on social media, “It’s my honour to write the dialogues for #SinghamAgain and be part of the writing team with @sajawalyunus @ishantanus and all! Thanks to @itsrohitshetty sir for believing in me!!!”
After a few hours, he shared some more pictures with a caption, “AALI RE AALI AATA MAAZI BAARI AALI to write dialogues for the LIONHEARTED @itsrohitshetty…It’s been a dream come true to work with a maestro of Mass like him! The appreciation, faith and encouragement he gives a person instills full confidence into everyone! Love you and thank you for #SinghamAgain”
If you look at the career of Milap Zaveri, you will find that he has done tremendous job in making some great films. For example, he is credited of writing dialogues and screenplay for Rohit Shetty’s Ranveer Ching Returns. It’s a video that was made as part of the promotions of the Chings brand.
It originally starred Tamannaah Bhatia and Ranveer Singh in their lead roles. On the other hand Singham Returns will make have the presence of both Rohit and Milap for the first time in the making of a feature film.
This is what one of the industry insiders commented, “Rohit Shetty and Milap Zaveri both believe in mass cinema. Rohit’s films require dramatic and clapworthy dialogues that can uplift a scene. Milap Zaveri is apt for it as he has proved his worth in such films multiple times.”
For Milap Zaveri, it’s not that he has penned only a few films. Well, the director will have some more films in his kitty. Besides Singham Returns, Zaveri will also write Sharman Joshi’s next with his Style (2002).
This is what he had told in an interview held with Bollywood Hungama in August 2022, “I’ve written the dialogue for Sanjay Gupta’s The Miranda Brothers, starring Harshvardhan Rane and Meezaan Jafri. It’s my seventh film with Sanjay Gupta’s company after Kaante (2002), Plan (2004), Musafir (2004), Woodstock Villa (2008), Shootout At Wadala (2013) and Alibaug. I am writing dialogues for his next film too. I am also writing the story, screenplay and dialogues for Mohit Suri’s next and the story, screenplay and dialogues for Kookie Gulati’s next. I am also penning the screenplay and dialogues for Remo D’Souza’s next film as well as writing his web series.” he said.
Please note that Singham Returns happens to be the 5th part of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe after he directed Singham in 2011.
Other films include Singham Returns (2014), Simmba (2018) and Sooryavanshi (2021). Latest reports say that Arjun Kapoor will play the role of an antagonist in Singham Again.
