Famous British singer Adele will soon be testing her luck in Hollywood. It means she will go off the mic and appear in her debut film Cry to Heaven. it’s basically an upcoming film by Tom Ford which revolves around 1982 novel by Anne Rice of the same name
The Hollywood project is said to be the most astonishing one for Adele who has got a chance to show her acting skill in Cry to Heaven.
The cast of the film includes Thandiwe Newton, Hunter Schafer, Paul Bettany, Colin Firth, Mark Strong, George MacKay, Ciarán Hinds, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Nicholas Hoult in their respective pivotal roles.
A Period Drama Set Against the Backdrop of 18th-Century Italian History
Cry to Heaven is quite an exciting project for Adele who’s 16 time Grammy award winner. There is no doubt that she’s a world class singer who has millions of followers worldwide, but tile will only tell how she performs in her first ever project.
Coming back to Cry to Heaven, it’s basically a period drama that showcases an era of 18th centuary in Italy. The story revolves around the lives of two men.
One of them happens to be a castrated opera singer and the other one is Venetian nobleman. It further shows how their path cross in different ways.
The film is expected to be directed, and produced by a renowned filmmakers and fashion designer Tom Ford who’s known to have given blockbuster movies like Nocturnal Animals (2016), and A Single Man (2009).
As per the latest reported submitted by Deadline, the film is currently in the development styage and the shooting of the film will commence from next year in January.
As of now, Tom has an idea in mind according to which he has decided toself finance the project. He will later self finance the entire project and will distribute once the film is complete.

The music sensation had further added last year, “Currently, I don’t have plans to add music and continue working on some creative projects.”
As it seems, the acting debut of Adele will soon mark the commencement of a nerw chapter whichactually blends her undeniable artistic skill with an invigorating leap into fresh creative territory.
