During COVID-19 pandemic, a number of films had to suffer as the makers decided to postpone their projects.
But now, they have decided to make theatrical releases of their films. One such film is Sherdil which is going to star Pankaj Tripathi in his lead role.
The shooting for this film was to commence from July 2020. But it was postponed due to the pandemic.
Pankaj Tripathi is a versatile actor who have worked in a number of films in the past. As per the latest Bollywood news, he has recently wrapped up the shooting for sequel of OMG with Akshay Kumar and now keen to go ahead with Srijit Mukherji’s next titled Sherdil.
When Pankaj Tripathi was asked to give his reaction on his association with Srijit Mukherji, this is what he said to Bollywood Hungama, “Srijit is a fabulous director. He needs no introduction. His work speaks for itself. When Sherdil was offered to me, I jumped on the idea. The story has a definite character in itself. It is a beautifully written script and I trust Srijit to bring each character to life convincingly. That’s his USP. “
Likewise, the director of the film praised the actor. He said Pankaj is one of the finest actors in the biz world. He said having him on the set is just like half the battle won. He said the best part of Pankaj Tripathi is that he always try and explore new things.
More than that, he tries to improvise when his team is in need. To be precise, he’s director’s delight. As per an update, Sherdil is being co-produced by T-Series and Reliance Entertainment.
