With the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the country, a number of celebrities have become victims in the recent past. The latest name added in the list is of Sarath Kumar who tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday.
Sarath Kumar is one of the most promising South actors. He was previously seen in ‘Vaanam Kottatum’ released in 2020.
After testing positive for COVID-19, he isolated himself. In his message, he urged people to stay alert and take every precaution and test themselves if anyone came in contact with him.
This is what he wrote in his message, “Good evening my near and dear friends relatives and my brothers and sisters In the political party, this evening I have tested positive and have self isolated myself, I humbly request all the dear ones who have been in contact for the past week to test yourself immediately.” (sic).

For the actor, he tested positive for the coronavirus for a second time. He tested positive for the first time in December 2020 at the time of shooting for his film Ponniyin Selvan.
There are loads of celebrities who tested positive in the last two months including Dulquer Salman, Mammootty, Chiranjeevi, Vadivelu, Mahesh Babu, Vishnu Vishal, Arun Vijay, Keerthy Suresh, Thaman Vikram, Trisha and Kamal Haasan.
On the work front, Sarath Kumar will be next seen in Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. Apart from this, he has so many other projects lined up in the time to come.
