Ranveer Singh starrer 83 will be releasing on December 24. Since the release date of the film is approaching fast, the makers are expecting to have a grand release of the film during Christmas. Another update that looks surprising is that Priyanka Chopra starrer ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ is also going to be released at the same time.
As the name suggests, 83 is a sports drama helmed by Kabir Khan. The film basically narrates the story of the emphatic victory of Indian cricket team at the world cup held in 1983.
The film stars Sahil Khattar, Harrdy Sandhu, Tahir Raj Bhasin and Deepika Padukone in their lead roles. The upcoming film is slated to release in many languages like Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
On the other hand ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ happens to be a science fiction drama starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Neil Patrick Harris, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jada Pinkett Smith, Carrie-Anne Moss and Keanu Reeves in their pivotal roles.
As per the update, ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ is slated to release on December 22 and ’83 will be released on December 24.
The audience should note that Christmas 2021 will witness a power packed performance in the form of two films releasing around the same time.
It’s not the first time that both Ranveer and Priyanka are sharing the screen space together for a film. In the past too, they have been featured together in films like ‘Dik Dhadakne Do’ and Gunday.
