Famous film director Rajkumar Hirani is currently working on the making of a biopic on the life of former cricketer Lala Amarnath. Subsequently, he is working on another script which is being written by none other than Abhijat Joshi.
As per the current developments, it seems that Hirani is currently working on multiple projects.
This is the first time when the filmmaker was approached for multiple scripts at the same time.
A source close to the filmmaker has revealed that Hirani looks keen to work first on Lala Amarnath biopic that will be based on the life of the former cricketer.
This film is to be bankrolled by Fox Star Films. The biopic on Lala Amarnath is being written by Neeraj Singh and Piyush Gupta.
There is yet another cricket story which is being written by Abhijat Joshi. Now, apart from these two films that are based on cricket, there are some more projects lined up but are yet to be finalised. As of now, we hear that Rajkumar Hirani is also interested working on a web series.

At the moment, we do not have much information about the developments going on. By looking at the things closely, it looks like Hirani is quite serious to make Lala Amarnath biopic. For other projects, we need to wait for some more time.
As per the latest Bollywood news, the information on the current development came only after the leading film directors and writers along with Hirani met with Netflix CEO Reed Hastings.
There were few more people who also chose to meet with the Netflix director including Farah Khan, Vikramaditya Motwane, Anubhav Sinha, Monica Shergill, Anand L Rai, Ashish Singh, Ashwini Iyer Tiwari and Vishal Bharadwaj.
It was all revealed when Farah Khan chose to share a common picture on Twitter depicting the entire delegation with Netflix CEO.
While sharing the picture on her Twitter handle, she even chose to write, “A spectacular evening with the Netflix CEO Reed Hastings along with all the fellow cricketers. I thank you shrishiarya for all the energy and vibes and also to make this happen..”
As per the recent update on Hrani, the filmmaker has previously directed Sanju that became one of the most great blockbusters of all time. Sanju depicted Ranbir Kapoor in his lead role.
