Raj Kundra Case: Bollywood Actress Sherlyn Chopra Summoned By Mumbai Crime Branch

The latest update in Raj Kundra Pornography case is that Sherlyn Chopra, who’s a model and Bollywood actress is asked to appear before the Mumbai Crime Branch.

She was asked by the property cell of the crime branch on Friday to appear in connection with the production and distribution of porn content through various mobile applications online.

Earlier, it was Saurabh Kushwaha who was summoned by the crime branch. Kushwaha is the director of Armsprime Media Private Limited.

As the days are being progressed, police continues to investigate deeper to nail down all the kingpins involved in the porn racket which is believed to have spread in 14 states.

In the meanwhile, Kundra has moved to session court to challenge the judgement given by the Bombay High Court as it had rejected the bail plea of Kundra.

But now, reports are pouring in where the session court has given its verdict. As per the court, the case will be heard on August 10. Both Kundra and his associate Ryan Thorpe continue to be in the judicial custody.

In addition to this, crime branch also recovered a film’s script with adult content on his personal laptop.

It was on July 27 when a Mumbai court had directed Kundra and his associate Ryan Thorpe for 14 days judicial custody.

Kundra is not only involved in managing a full fledged pornography racket but was also involved in some other illegal businesses like betting.

And so, he was booked under various sections of IPC including sections 34 (common intention), 420 (cheating), 293 (indecent and obscene display of content) of IPC (Indian Penal Code).
