Raashii Khanna has been waiting for long to make her Bollywood debut. And now, it seems that the actress’ dream has become fulfilled.
As per the latest Bollywood news, Raashii has started filming for her new project titled Yodha. She will be seen sharing screen space opposite Sidharth Malhotra.
After the shooting commenced, the actress penned a long note on the day one of shooting expressing her gratitude for the entire team.
Raashii earlier worked in the South film industry. But now, she has clear dreams of making it to Bollywood. Right from the start she managed to grab a film from Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
The actress looked excited to be a part of the team who have started shooting for the film on day one. Raashii looked excited to kick start her Bollywood journey. But she didn’t forget to pen a note full of gratitude. This is what she wrote, ‘Yodha’. Sharing a picture of the welcome note from Dharma Productions, Raashii wrote, “Thank you for such a warm welcome @dharmamovies You have my heart ❤️ #day1 #Yodha”.
Raashii recently had an interaction with media where she was asked some straight forward questions regarding the release of her upcoming film Yodha.
Take a look at what she said while interacting with the media personnel, “It has been a blessing to be a part of the project. Raj and DK are the creators of ‘The Family Man’ which has changed the way we see OTT shows. The way they treat their female characters is amazing. That’s what I have understood working with them. They are extremely sensitive to issues and have no gender bias. They are into breaking those stereotypes, which is why they are these wonderful filmmakers,” Raashii said.
Yodha is not the only project Raashii is taking up. There are many more to come. For example, she will next be seen in Rajesh Mapuskar’s ‘Rudra: The Edge of Darkness’.
She’s also known to be teaming up with Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupati in Raj and DK’s next action thriller show.
