Rocketry: The Nambi Effect has become one of the most awaited films for R Madhvan’s fans these days. It’s because the upcoming film is all set to place the country on the global map of Indian cinema.
It’s mainly because Bollywood is keen to place ISRO space scientist Nambi Narayanan on an international arena. The latest is that Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect will soon receive its world premiere on the occasion of 75th Cannes Film Festival.
The big event will happen on May 19 at 9 PM. It will be something memorable for all fans to witness such a recognition to the film.
The launch of the the festival tradition is known to be the quite significant during its 75th year which seems to be coinciding with 75 years of Indian independence.
The best part is that India’s cultural ministry has officially selected Rocketry: The Nambi Effect for its Red Carpet World Premiere at the benue.
R Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect to have its world premiere at Cannes Film Festival
In the film titled Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, Madhavan plays the character of an Indian scientist, Nambi Narayanan, who’s also an aerospace engineer and former former ISRO scientist. He’s the one who has written, produced and directed the film.
This is what R Madhavan said about Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’s world premiere at Cannes Film Festival, “I’m in a daze! I just started by wanting to tell the story of Nambi Narayanan and I’m unable to believe all that’s happening. With God’s grace, we’ve waited long and I’m grateful and thrilled to watch all good things happening for the film. As a debut director, my nervousness is making it difficult for me to breathe & all I hope is to make India proud!” he said.
Another reason why Rocketry: The Nambi Effect was selected to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival is because of the film captures all the struggle of ISRO space scientist Nambi Narayan. The film has been shot in multiple languages like English, Tamil and Hindi.
The film’s release on big screen is currently scheduled for July 1, 2022. It will be shown in multiple languages like Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu.
R Madhavan’s film has been shot in different countries like Serbia, Georgia, Canada, France and India. The film also has a powerful star cast of some renowned actors like Ron Donachie, Vincent Riotta, and Phyllis Logan.
The film will also have a special appearance of Suriya and Shah Rukh Khan as well. Please note that Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is produced by 27th Investments, Varghese Moolan Pictures and TriColour films. It’s distributed by Red Giant Movies and UFO Moviez in India.
The film is known to be distributed internationally by Phars Film Co. and Yash Raj Films.
