Preity Zinta, actress and co-owner of Punjab Kings, has arrived in Jeddah for the IPL mega auction, scheduled for November 24-25 in Saudi Arabia.

She also shared that she had been taking a break from social media for a digital detox in the days leading up to the mega event.

As the IPL auctions for the upcoming season approach, Punjab Kings have confirmed the retention of batters Prabhsimran Singh (₹4 crore) and Shashank Singh (Rs 5.5 crore) for the next edition.

Since joining the team in 2019, Prabhsimran Singh has played 34 matches, scoring 756 runs with an average of 22.24 and a strike rate of 146.23. His record includes one century and three half-centuries.

As the IPL auctions for the upcoming season approach, Punjab Kings have announced the retention of two key batters, Prabhsimran Singh and Shashank Singh. Prabhsimran, who has been part of the franchise since 2019, will remain with the team for Rs 4 crore.

Over six seasons, the 23-year-old wicketkeeper-batter has scored 756 runs from 34 matches, with an average of 22.24 and a strike rate of 146.23.

His performances include one century and three half-centuries. Additionally, Shashank Singh will continue with the team for Rs 5.5 crore, adding more depth to Punjab Kings’ batting lineup for the next season.
