The makers have come forward to capture the very moment of our independence when Mahatma Gandhi became our idol. Applause Entertainment, a venture of Aditya Birla Group recently announced a biopic on the life of ‘Gandhi’.
The upcoming biographical drama ‘Gandhi’ will be based on the writings of several great historian and authors Ramachandra Guha.
The series will be produced for the global audience and will recreate all those moments showing the great Indian freedom movement.
Pratik Gandhi To Feature As Mahatma Gandhi In Upcoming Biographical Web Series
The above series will be based on the life and struggle of Mahatma Gandhi. It will narrate stories of his early struggle in South Africa to India. The film will also narrate some interesting stories of all his compatriots and freedom movements. Renowned biographer and historian Ramachandra Guha said, ‘Gandhi’s work transformed the world, and his legacy still sparks the most intense debates. His life was an epic journey, played out across three great countries: India, England and South Africa. He fought nobly for freedom, for inter-faith harmony, and for the rights of the underprivileged. Along the way he made many friends and not a few enemies too. I am delighted that my books on Gandhi are now being adapted for this ambitious and exciting series being produced by Applause Entertainment.
