Bill Skarsgård, best known for playing Pennywise, is set to take on the role of a gothic vampire in Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu, unveiling a completely new look.
Robert Eggers is acclaimed for his unsettling films such as The Northman, The Witch, and The Lighthouse. He has in fact, made a name for himself as a master of folklore, fusing innovative storytelling with visually rich filmmaking.
Eggers is now taking on his next project, a reimagining of the classic vampire tale featuring the ferocious Count Orlock, Nosferatu.
Though the film released almost 8 years ago, The Witch (2015), it almost failed to create an impact over time. This time, however, it’s expected to be even more terrifying and spooky.

Nosferatu Release Date
Nosferatu is scheduled for release on December 25 this year, promising a revival of classic gothic horror. The movie was filmed in the Czech Republic during the previous year.
Nosferatu Cast
Looking at the previous events, Eggers has now assembled a strong cast for the film. Bill Skarsgård, known for his portrayal of Pennywise the Clown, will embody the legendary vampire Count Orlok. The trailer, however, keeps his complete look a secret.
Alongside Bill Skarsgård, the film stars Willem Dafoe, Emma Corrin, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp.
Both Anya Taylor-Joy and Harry Styles were initially part of the cast but had to leave the project due to conflicting schedules.

It reimagines the iconic 1922 German Expressionist silent classic, where a vampire is drawn to a woman with fatal results.
