Television lovers might be feeling excited to get yet another new brand show. It’s basically a cop drama titled Control Room by Yash Patnaik. The reason why Control Room is in the limelight is because of its star cast.
The show has recently added feathers in its cap after it was announced that Rahil Azam and Nishant Malkhani will be joining the star cast of the show. They will be playing lead roles in the show.
Rahil Azam will play the role of a lawyer whereas Nishant Malkhani will feature as a formidable cop. To be precise, Nishant is playing the role of a cop for the first time in any television serial.
The actor first came into limelight from his debut TV series Miley Jab Hum Tum. He was last seen in the lead role in Rakshabandhan…Rasal Apne Bhai Ki Dhal.
Rahil Azam has been in the television world for the last so many years. Earlier, he was a part of many popular shows like Tu Aashiqui, Hatim, Kaahin Kissi Roz, and many others. The best part is that he has previously essayed the role of a cop and lawyer in the past.
He played the role of a cop in sitcom, Maddam Sir – Kuch Baat Hai Kyunki Jazbaat Hai. Likewise, he played some other crucial roles in many other TV serials.
This is what a source linked with Control Room has to say, “Rahil will play Mohit Chettani, India’s number one criminal lawyer. He hates cops and is the antagonist in the show. The makers chose him for his intensity and personality, which fit the bill perfectly. The shoot for this weekend show has commenced and the unit is shooting at real locations, too.” the source said.
