With additional shows in multiple locations, particularly in the Hindi belt, the film has seen some impressive box office numbers collection in its 2nd weekend.
Marco (Hindi) initially released with around 70 shows. Thanks to a positive response, the number of screenings increased to 281 at the start of the second week, eventually reaching nearly 450 shows by day 9 (second Saturday).
This growth resulted in the film achieving its highest single-day box office earnings since its release.
According to Sacnilk, Marco (Hindi) had a soft start with just 1 lakh on opening day. However, it saw growth throughout the week, wrapping up its first week with a total of 0.28 crore.
The film saw a significant boost on day 8 by collecting Rs 0.25 crore. By day 9, it took another leap, collecting 0.50 crore, setting a new record to attain highest collection recorded in a single day.
In contrast to its day 1 earnings of 1 lakh, the Hindi-dubbed version of the Unni Mukundan starrer witnessed an impressive 50-fold increase in earnings yesterday.
The film finally experienced a substantial increase, grossing up to Rs 0.25 crore. By day 9, it advanced further, reaching Rs 0.50 crore while achieving its highest single-day earning.
Starting from Rs 1 Lakh on day 1, the indi-dubbed version of the Unni Mukundan starrer witnessed an impressive 50 times growth. The film has now accumulated a total of Rs 1.03 crore net at the box office India.
With this figure, it has set the record as the highest-grossing Hindi-dubbed Malayalam film in history. The collection is likely to grow even more today, so don’t be surprised if it surpasses Rs 1 crore.
