Malayalam Film Actor Manikandan Achari Donates Money Saved for Wedding to Covid-19 Relief

The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has touched almost every life across the globe in one way or the other. Talking about India, hundreds of people have been directly affected due to this. And many have lost their lives too.

Amid Covid-19 crisis, Malayalam film actor Manikandan Achari not only tied his nuptial knot with Anjali in a temple but also donated the money saved for the wedding. This is going to be a great help to all suffers due to coronavirus.

Manikandan Achari is one of the most sought Malayalam film actors who is known for his fine acting skills. The actor was last seen in a Malayalam drama titled Kammatipadam helmed by Rajeev Ravi.

The actor not only decided to tie the knot amid lockdown but also donated the money he had saved for the purpose of his wedding.

As per The Times of India report, Achari chose to marry with his partner at Erroor temple and came forward to donate the money to the CM’s relief fund.

Another report published in this regard says that the actor tied the nuptial knot by following all the lockdown protocols.

This can be evident by the fact that only a few guests were present in the wedding from both the sides.

As the wedding date was already fixed before the lockdown, it was finalised not to extend the wedding date.

This is what Manikandan stated in one of the reports published in this regard, “We will overcome Covid-19. We are happy to contribute to the relief fund and we aren’t upset that our wedding wasn’t a grand one,” he said.

Please note that Manikandan debuted his film career from Kammatipaadam in the year 2016 that starred Dulquer Salman in his lead role.

The actor was featured in some other Malayalam language movies like Mamangam, Eeda, Alamara and Carbon.
