Louise Hooper, Sanaa Hamri & Charlotte Brändström to Direct The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2

It was Brändström who directed the first season of The Rings of Power (107/“The Eye” and 106/“Udûn”), is said to direct four more episodes. She will also be serving as the co-executive producer of this season.

Charlotte Brändström is known to have graduated from the renowned American Film Institute. She’s not only won several awards but also has directed over 30 films.

It also includes some of the popular TV shows as well like Outlander for Starz, The Man in the High Castle for Prime Video, The Witcher for Netflix and many more.

Sanaa Hamri also comes from the same background. She’s also a renowned music, film and commercial director from Tangier, Morocco. Earlier, she used to produce FOX’s hit series Empire.

Some other shows which she has directed include Desperate Housewives, Glee, Elementary, Nashville, Rectify, and Shameless along with some featured films like Just Wright, and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.

Hooper is a British drama director known for directing thrillers like Flesh and Blood along with the first season of Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman, Inside No. 9, and Treason.
