Lokesh Kanagaraj Addresses Online Leak of Nagarjuna’s Scene from Coolie Set
Coolie, an action-packed film starring Rajinikanth and featuring Nagarjuna in a key role, recently had a scene featuring Nagarjuna as the fierce Simon surface online.
The leak, which thrilled fans, upset director Lokesh Kanagaraj, who took to X to appeal for discretion from those on set and requested that such footage not be shared publicly.

On X, Lokesh Kanagaraj voiced his frustration, stating, “The leak of a single recording has jeopardized two months of collective effort. I urge everyone to avoid such actions as they diminish the overall experience. Thank you.”

“Coolie” will include key performances by Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, and Upendra, in addition to the main cast. The soundtrack will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with Girish Gangadharan on cinematography, Philomin Raj as the editor, and stunts coordinated by Anbariv. The film is slated for a 2025 release, though the exact date has yet to be announced.
