Disney’s latest remake, Lilo & Stitch, made a strong box office debut with $145.5 million during the weekend, per Box Office Mojo.
Thanks to a $37.5 million boost on Memorial Day, the total four-day collection now stands at $183 million in North America.

Surpasses Top Gun: Maverick To Become the Biggest Memorial Day Opener
Back in 2022, Top Gun: Maverick dominated the Memorial Day box office with a $160.5 million launch.
Now, the crown has passed to Lilo & Stitch (2025), which outperformed Cruise’s film by an estimated $22.5 million over the same 4-day period.
