After a much void, it seems like RX100 actor Kartikeya has resumed shooting for his upcoming film Valimai. This was confirmed after the news for the same started doing rounds on different social media platforms.
While the shooting is already underway, it looks quite expected that superstar Ajith will also resume the shooting very soon. But it’s not confirmed that he will join the shooting as of now.
If you analyze the shooting of various projects, they are either being cancelled or postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Along with that, nobody likes to take any risk regarding this.
So, when it comes to the cancellation of the film due to COVID-19 pandemic, the makers had to take tough decisions to either postpone their films or stop shooting of their films at large.
Take a look at what a source has to say in this regard, “When film shoots were cancelled in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic-triggered lockdown, the team of Valimai was shooting an action block with Kartikeya.
They had to stop filming abruptly and it’s those portions that they have been shooting for in the past few days. Shooting has been going on at a highway near Chennai.
As per their initial plans, they were to go for a foreign schedule next, but things are very fluid now. The makers are taking it slow and will start the new schedule a little later in the year, when there is more clarity and stability.”
