The country has been witnessing continuous lockdown due to coronavirus pandemic. This has affected almost every industry including the film industry.
But in the coming time, cinema halls are expected to reopen as the situation will get better. The latest coming from the cine world is about a movie titled KGF Chapter 2.
The shooting of this film is already underway and will complete within some time.
Now, the situation is rife that makers have made their mind to release the film on the occasion of Makar Sankranti which falls on January 14, 2021.
KGF Chapter 2 is directed by Prashanth Neel that will also feature Srinidhi Shetty in her pivotal role.
It’s expected that some of the Kannada movies like Dia, Love Mocktail, Shivarjuna and Shivaji Surathkal might return after the re opening of theatres from October 15.
This will also be a signal to make sure if audience is ready to watch their favorite movies in movie halls amid Covid-19 pandemic.
Earlier, the makers of KGF Chapter 2 had planned to release the film in the month of October. But the idea was pushed back due to the continued lockdown in the country.
This is the reason why they worked again and finalized decided the film to release on January 14, 2021.
At present, the shooting of KGF Chapter 2 is underway at Mangaluru. Srinidhi has just joined the crew to warp up her shooting part.
As per the latest Bollywood news, a few sequels will also be shot in Mysuru as well.
KGF Chapter 2 is basically a sequel to KGF Chapter 1 starring Prakash Raj in his key role.
Others who star in the film include Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt. The music in the film is composed by Ravi Basrur.
