The biggest controversy which is being created on Twitter and other social media platforms where they are simply criticizing Gadot for playing the role of Cleoptara. Most Twitter users have to say that the role of Cleopatra should not be given to an Israeli woman.
On the other hand, Cleopatra happens to be the story of a female Pharaoh of ancient Egypt. The actress has previously played the memorable roles of Princess Diana and Wonder Woman.
So, she didn’t know Cleopatra was Greek & she calls the stunning Gal Gadot “very bland looking”. Pathological hatred of Israel does strange things to people’s brains. https://t.co/dgOa9ILFFJ

Many Twitter users have shown their criticism over Gal Gadot being featured in the role of Cleoptra. One of them is a journalist named Sameera Khan. She has raised the question to Hollywood about her being selected for this role.
This is what she said, “good idea to cast an Israeli actress as Cleopatra (a very bland looking one) instead of a stunning Arab actress like Nadine Njeim?” Some other tweets in a similar vein seem to now have been deleted. Here’s one that’s still up:
Sameera further highlighted the idea that Cleopatra was of Greek origin and she later calls Gadot ‘very bland looking’.
Cleopatra was Macedonian Greek, not Arab, and Gal Gadot's family has been in Israel for six generations. Take a deep breath, Sameera. https://t.co/xYEunlp5aK

The above issue is giving rise to Israel-Palestine conflict mainly to create a Jweish state in the territory including ancient Israelites and Palestine from Egypt. All this has already invoked on Twitter as well.
Please note that Cleopatra is a global figure of ancient history fascinated with Mark Antony and Julius Caesar.
Take a look at Gal Gadot’s tweet who is keen to go ahead with Cleopatra project:
As you might have heard I teamed up with @PattyJenks and @LKalogridis to bring the story of Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt, to the big screen in a way she’s never been seen before. To tell her story for the first time through women's eyes, both behind and in front of the camera. pic.twitter.com/k5eyTIfzjB
