It was on Thursday (June 30, 2022) when makers decided to premiere Jujutsu Kaisen 0. The film managed to hit Indian theatres after selling over 50 thousand tickets on its opening day itself.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is directed by Sunghoo Park and happens to be the prequel to the Crunchyroll Anime of the Year winner Jujutsu Kaisen.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Box Office (India) Day One: The Film Collects Rs 1.8 Crore
The breaking news about Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is that the film collected Rs 1.8 crore on day one.
The above collections were made through advance booking. The experts believe that it may gross well over Rs 2 crore including ticket sales.
In terms of the film’s performance at India box office, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 managed to outperform several Bollywood movies like Rashtra Kavach Om starring Sanjana Sanghi and Aditya Roy Kapur. The film only made less than 1 crore in pre-sales of tickets.
Other films include Rocketry: The Nambi Effect which managed to pool in an estimated Rs 75 crore in pre-sales. The film not only stars Madhavan but also written and directed by him.
It’s being said that Jujutsu Kaisen 0 has got such a rise within a short time frame that it became the highest grossing animie of all time.
