SRK’s Jawan audio launch in Chennai: The pre-release event of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan was held in Chennai with a much anticipation on Wednesday. It was a mega event attended by many stars including Yogi Babu, Vijay Sethupathi, Anirudh Ravichander, Atlee, and others.

Nayanthara was not present in the big event who is playing the lead role in the film.

The event not only accompanied some grand celebrities but also looked electrifying. While making his point at the event, SRK stated that Tamil cinema is something which has given loads of best films.

He narrated some of the well known Tamil movies like Dil Se which was produced by the ace Tamil director Mani Ratnam. SRK named another film Hey Ram by Kamal Haasan and many others by Rajnikanth.

 

The Bollywood star said that he has made a plethora of friends in the Tamil film industry in some previous years. SRK then moved towards everyone and gave a title to each of them in Tamil.

On the blissful launch of SRK’s Jawan, actor turned politician Kamal Haasan came forward to wish Shah Rukh Khan, Atlee, and the entire team of Jawan. He conveyed his feelings “In these 30 years, Shah Rukh has become the symbol of love. His smile lights up thousands of faces,” he said.

On the grand occasion, the director Atlee credited Vijay for handling the entire project. This is what he said, .” The director also drew a nostalgic parallel to something that happened 13 years ago when he was an assistant director. “When I was working in Shankar sir’s Enthiran, I stood outside Shah Rukh sir’s house in Bombay, looked at that big gate, and took a picture. Now, after 13 years, those gates opened for me… so maybe, prayers do work.”

While making his point, Vijay Sethupathi finally thanked Atlee and also appreciated his shot-division skills. He also narrated a funny incident regarding school-time crush who was actually in love with Shah Rukh and not him.

Vijay said, “I’m glad I could take revenge on sir finally in this film. Treating someone in front of you as an equal is an important quality for an actor; how else would you be able to give life to a fictional character that doesn’t have a body? Shah Rukh sir is one such actor,” he added.

On the other hand, ace music composer Anirudh also praised Atlee and said, “Many have gone to Bollywood from here, but to work on an original script for three years and make a film with India’s biggest star is a huge achievement.” he said.

 

 

 

Another actor Priyamani also praised Atlee and SRK, and stated, “I can’t wait for all of you to see what the girls — Sanya Malhotra, Riddhi Dogra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Aaliyah Qureshi, Lehar Khan, Girija Oak — and I have done in this film.”

Lead actor Yogi Babu also praised Shah Rukh Khan and recalled his memories when he used to work in Chennai Express. This is what he said, “I couldn’t believe he remembered me! I also wish for Atlee to go higher and higher; he should make a Hollywood film next.” he said.

One of the highlights of the grand event was that Shah Rukh ‘got on the dance floor’ with Priyamani and Sunil Grover as ‘One Two Three Four..’ from Chennai Express played.

Jawan has been produced by Gauri Khan and co-produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, and Gaurav Verma. Jawan is slated to hit cinema halls on September 7, 2023.
