Jacqueline Fernandez Skips Questioning In Rs 200 Crore Cheating Case

Jacqueline Fernandez, who was questioned twice by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in relation to a money laundering case is known to have skipped the probe for now. The central agency actually wanted to record her statement in the above case.

This is what it was learnt after an update was published in ETimes, “Jacqueline Fernandez did not show up at the ED office for her questioning today at the stipulated time. The actress was supposed to show up today afternoon, but she skipped. Officials are now going to find out about her location. They will then ask her the reason for not showing up.”

Today’s update also revealed that the probe was to happen in regards to a purported transaction that may have taken place between the actress and the prime accused.

As per the reports, Sukesh Chandrasekar is known to have cheated the family of Malvinder Singh and Shivinder Singh of Rs 200 crore, who are known to be the former promoters of Ranbaxy company. It was later learnt that the actress almost fell on his radar through his wife named Leena Paul.

It was also learn that Sukesh Chandrasekhar happens to be in the world of crime since the age of 17. He has multiple FIRs named against him and is currently lodged in Rohini jail. He was in touch with Jacqueline Fernandez through text messages and calls.

At present, ED wants to confirm the actress’ role in the above cheating case.

On her professional front, Jacqueline Fernandez was last featured in a film Bhoot Police. The film also starred Yami Gautam, Arjun Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in their respective pivotal roles. Some of her upcoming films include ‘Attack’, ‘Cirkus’, ‘Ram Setu’, ‘Kick 2’ and ‘Bachchan Pandey’.
