Jacqueline Fernandez finally appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) over the ongoing Sukesh Chandrashekhar case. She was recently stopped at the Mumbai airport before.
Jacqueline Fernandez is again in news due to the ongoing fraud case being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). She’s currently being probed for her alleged links with conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar. The entire proceeding is taking place at the agency’s office in Delhi.
When the actress was called to join the probe, she landed at the investigating agency’s office in Delhi. After she arrived, journalists approached her to express her views on this. But she swiftly left straight to the office without commenting anything. She was carrying some documents with her.
Jacqueline was recently stopped at the airport for leaving the country. She was then summoned by ED.
It all happened because of the ED’s lookout notice issued against her.

On Sunday, when Jacqueline Fernandez was stopped at the Mumbai airport. She was trying to board a flight to Dubai. The report says that investigating agency was already in touch with the immigration authorities at the airport. The authorities immediately alerted the agencies after her arrival at the airport. After this, fresh summons issued to her.
ED has already filed a detailed chargesheet against Sukesh Chandrashekhar in a special Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court on Saturday.
Please note that Chandrashekhar is the same person who has been charged for running an extortion racket worth of crores from Rohini jail.
The report says that he used high end mobile applications to spoof the contact numbers of various government officials so as to extort money from them.
Involvement of Jacqueline in Sukesh Chandrashekhar Case
As per the chargesheet filed by ED, it has the name of Jacqueline Fernandez. It says that Fernandez not only has alleged links with culprits but has also received gifts from Chandrashekhar worth crores. The gifts include Persian cats of Rs 9 lakh each, diamond jewelry, crockery and a horse.
He also booked a chartered flight for her once. As per a report published on Republic News, they also spoke on-call when he was in jail. Before that a picture of Sukesh and Jacqueline went viral where the actress can be seen kissing Sukesh on his cheek.
There is another Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi whose name is also involved in the above case. She was questioned by ED in the month of October. Sources say Nora received costly gifts from Chandrashekhar. One of them include a luxury car.
In the meanwhile, some other revelations came to surface and are also mentioned in the chargesheet. It was claimed that he bribed jail officials with crores of rupees. The name of a hawala operator is also involved in the same case.
The sources claim that all the money used by the extortion racket was primarily used by him to purchase both movable and immovable properties. It was confirmed after a raid was conducted by the ED officials at his Chennai properties.
Apart from the above, Leena Maria Paul, the wife of Sukesh Chandrashekhar is also involved in the case.
