The IPL 2018 final finally ended majestically after the final match held between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings. The event had the presence of Salman Khan and his entire Race 3 star cast. It continued with the performance of Bollywood stars including Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Kartik Aaryan and others.
Earlier, the superstar Bhaijan Salman Khan appeared chanting with the audience through a promotional video, especially for the IPL 2018 final closing ceremony. It was a huge event and the stars (as expected) continued to excel and appreciated by the audience.
It was titled “Cricket Final Party Toh Banti Hai”. The ceremony also starred Ranbir Kapoor who hosted the entire Veere Di Wedding star cast that included Swara Bhaskar, Sonam Kapoor, Shikha Talsania and Kareena.
The IPL 2018 final witnessed a rare moment when CSK clinched their 3rd IPL title after defeating the Sunrisers Hyderabad by a whopping 8 wickets. After CSK won the title, a few critics felt that the winning team was full of players who are above 30 years of age, and therefore tagged the team as “aged team”. But Salman Khan was quick to intervene in the conflict raised during IPL 2018 final and showed his full support for the team.
IPL 2018 Final- Salman Khan shuts the mouths of haters for their bizarre attack
The IPL 2018 final witnessed a plenty of refreshing moments as it was the collision of two best teams of the tournament. The final match was held at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
The match saw a few glorious moments, especially when Shane Watson completed his century. He not only played a great knock but also showed his class and helped his team to win the title even after getting a slow start. The team CSK had to chase a difficult (but not an impossible) target of 179 with as many as 8 wickets in hand.
No doubt, the IPL 2018 final had a plethora of catchy moments on and off the grounds. It was long before the start of the tournament when most of the audience went optimistic about the Chennai Super King’s chances of winning the title as most of the team members have already attained their ages over 30 years.
Also, it makes a question mark on their ability to cope up with the younger team of T20 players. Also, from the very beginning, there were concerns being raised out regarding the CSK’s capabilities to attain their fitness levels back to the desired levels within a span of 2 months.
If you precisely look deep into the conflict, the entire team had a bunch of 9 players above the age of 30. But on the other hand, most of the team players have thrashed their counterparts in close fights in so many earlier occasions.
Well, it was a while since the debate started raging and even started to add its quirky insight. But it was Salman Khan himself who was quick to rubbish any such concerns that CSK is in fact, suffering from the problem of lack of youth.
It all happened when Irfan Pathan headed the Hindi commentary desk in the presence of Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor and asked if they both also feel like others who say that CSK should be called a squad of old men. To this, Salman Khan (52) quickly replied to him “what are you saying? No one currently retires at the age of 30”.
Well, this IPL 2018 final win happened to be the CSK’s 3rd consecutive success that makes them leveled with MI (Mumbai Indians) who have the record of having the most number of IPL titles on their name.
