As it was originally reported by the outlet, Hollywood Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez stated, “We are deeply honored at the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to celebrate Chadwick Boseman’s phenomenal legacy with a Walk of Fame star”
She further clarified that Boseman’s exceptional performances will always show the right path to forthcoming generations across the globe.
How Chadwick Boseman Made His Mark In Hollywood
It all happened in the year 2008 when Chadwick Boseman made his debut with The Express: The Ernie Davis Story
But the actual breakthrough of his career came with 42, where his performance as Jackie Robinson, the first Black player in modern Major League Baseball, won him strong critical praise.
Some of his popular roles of Thurgood Marshall in Marshall (2017) and James Brown in Get On Up (2014) also helped him grab immense popularity in Hollywood. As per his earlier interaction with media, Chadwick Boseman wanted to be a director instead of being an actor.
Boseman had once stated, “I agreed to do a few projects where I was not sure about. It’s because they were not for me. It was so because of someone’s else vision. And so, I was more interested in directing and writing.” He said.
