As per the latest Hollywood news, Universal is known to change the release date of its upcoming film titled ‘Halloween Kills’.
Due to this, it is slated to release both in theatres and online on October 15. This is the same date when the film will get released in both the formats.
The upcoming film is jointly produced by Blumhouse and Miramax. It’s directed by David Gordon Green that was previously slated only for a theatrical release. But now, it will be slated for theatrical release only.

The film was earlier scheduled to release last year in 2020 but had to be postponed thrice due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Please note that ‘Halloween Kills’ happens to be the 10th installment originated by John Carpenter. The film serves as a direct sequel to Green’s 2018 ‘Halloween’ and managed to collect a whopping $250 million in theatres.
‘Halloween Kills’ is written in the association of Scott Teems, Danny McBride and Green and stars the veteran actor Jamie Lee Curtis. He’s featured as the as a famed protagonist Laurie Strode.
Nick Castle also stars in the movie and plays the character of killer Michael Myers. Universal is previously known to have released an animated film titled ‘The Boss Baby: Family Business’ on July 2, 2021.
