It all happened instantly when fans singled out Red Dead Redemption 2 as a game that could really benefit from a 60fps patch, and we’re right there with them.
While Rockstar’s 2018 masterpiece stands as one of the best games ever, it’s hard to revisit on console, especially with its slow-paced opening.
Batman: Arkham Knight was yet another game which was quite popular among top gamers.
While Rocksteady’s final entry in the Batman trilogy still looks impressive, a 60fps update would take it to the next level. “I checked every week for a patch after the PS5 came out, but eventually, I realized it wasn’t happening,” one user commented.
Well, it was quite surprising after one user proposed Middle-earth: Shadow of War as a title that could benefit from a 60fps patch. Anything that boosts interest in the Nemesis system is seen as a win.
Meanwhile, another player brought up Ghost Recon Wildlands, expressing hope that it might receive a 60fps update as Ubisoft continues to roll out patches for older games. “With Ubi pushing out 60fps patches for older titles, I’m still hopeful for this,” the gamer shared.
