In response to a plethora of media reports that discussed the film Dangal release in Pakistan, here are the final words from the distributors.

As per them, Dangal is not going to release in the neighboring country.

Earlier there was a big media bias that helped spreading the news that Aamir Khan’s Dangal will also release in Pakistan theaters.

Therefore, the much awaited film in India (Dangal) is not going to see the light of the day in Pakistan.

On the contrary, Pakistan again started screening Indian films. The screening was suspended amidst mounting tensions between two countries.

But now, Pakistan again started screening Bollywood films. The course of tension started right from the attack on Indian soldiers in the Uri district where as many as 19 Indian soldiers had lost their lives.

The reason why the screening of Dangal has been suspended by Indian film distributors is not known. But it seems that Indian distributors want to play safe.

However, if we see the other side of it, you will easily understand why our neighboring country again started to screen Bollywood films all of a sudden.

Well, it’s mainly because the country (Pakistan) has been going through huge loses ever since it suspended to screen Indian films in its theaters.

Dangal release in Pakistan is suspended soon after Bollywood films started screening there

As per an estimate, Pakistan has almost lost Rs. 150 million and close to 100 employees have already lost their jobs ever since they stopped the screening of Indian films.

But as far as the screening of Dangal is concerned, the distributors have already taken their stand and they affirm on their decision that Dangal release in Pakistan is not going to happen.

Earlier, there were so many speculations about the movie Dangal Release in Pakistan is all set to happen as per schedule.

But today, the spokesperson of Indian film distributors has issued an official release that says that Dangal Release in Pakistan is not going to take place.

The film is not to be shown there and all media reports that highlighted the issue are all baseless and false.

Let’s remind you about Aamir Khan’s film Dangal. Well, it’s based on the life of a real time wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat. The film also shows the journey of his daughters whose names are Babita and Geeta Phogat.

The film stars some others, including Sakshi Tanwar, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh among others.

The film is directed by none other than Nitesh Tiwari and is scheduled to get released on December 23 in India.
