In response to a plethora of media reports that discussed the film Dangal release in Pakistan, here are the final words from the distributors. As per them, Dangal is not going to release in the neighboring country. Earlier there was a big media bias that helped spreading the news that Aamir Khan’s Dangal will also release in Pakistan theatres. Therefore, the much awaited film in India (Dangal) is not going to see the light of the day in Pakistan.
On the contrary, Pakistan again started screening Indian films. The screening was suspended amidst mounting tensions between two countries. But now, Pakistan again started screening Bollywood films. The course of tension started right from the attack on Indian soldiers in the Uri district where as many as 19 Indian soldiers had lost their lives.
The reason why the screening of Dangal has been suspended by Indian film distributors is not known. But it seems that Indian distributors want to play safe. However, if we see the other side of it, you will easily understand why our neighboring country again started to screen Bollywood films all of a sudden. Well, it’s mainly because the country (Pakistan) has been going through huge loses ever since it suspended to screen Indian films in its theatres.
