Chhaava Aiming for RS 600 Crore Milestone In Domestic Box Office
The decision to release Chhaava in Telugu turned out to be a strategic one for the film’s makers. The Hindi version has had an unpredictable run, grossing 571.40 crores in five weeks.
Meanwhile, its Telugu release has also done well, amassing 14.41 crores net in just two weeks. While the film faces little competition in Bollywood, its momentum in the South has been slightly hindered by the presence of Court: State vs A Nobody.
In total, Chhaava has earned 585.81 crores net at the Indian box office across all languages. With a promising boost expected over the sixth weekend, the film is on track to easily cross the Rs 600 crore mark.

Globally, Chhaava is just shy of Rs 8 crores from joining the exclusive Rs 800 crore club. With Rs 792.15 crores gross worldwide in just 35 days, it is set to become the 9th Bollywood film to reach this remarkable milestone.
