In the year 2021, she worked in HotStar TV series ‘Dil Bekaar’. In 2022, she appeared as a supporting cast in Hindi film ‘Badhaai Do’.

In Rajkummar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar starrer Badhaai Do, she played the role of a woman having homosexual preferences.
Now, the next assignment that she’s ready to take is by starring in the international English-Arabic show ‘Slave Market‘.
The shooting of this project is already going on in Egypt and the actress is known to have been busy with that.
The show is produced by MBC Studios (a Middle East media giant) and directed by Lassaad Oueslati (a Tunisian director known for Harga and El Maestro)
Apeksha Porwal is quite excited to grab a role in the upcoming web series. This is what she said during an interaction with a media house, “When I started out as an actor, I always wanted borders to be seamless, to be able to perform not just in the India but in film industries and cultures across the world as well. Slave Market has made that dream come true. While I cannot reveal more at this stage, I cannot wait to share this beautiful story and my character with the audiences.”
