Popular Korean actor Oh Yeong Su who reached to his global fame after he was seen in Netflix’s series Squid Game has now been dropped from a series of public service advertisements in South Korea.
The Korean actor was accused of his sexual misconduct with a woman filed on Friday.

As per a report from Hollywood Reporter, the 78 year old Korean actor was awarded a Golden Globe award for his spectacular prformance in the Netflix thriller.
But after this unlawful incident, he has been pulled out of an upcoming stage play in the Korean city of Jeonju.
The above report has now been confirmed by prosecutors in South Korean city of Suwon. They revealed that the Oh Yeong Su has been moved out of the show for improperly touching a woman in 2017.
They also told that the actor was simply released without detention. It was in the year 2021 when the victim filed a complaint against the South Korean actor.
Although, the case was already closed in 2021 itself but had to be reopened after the request of the victim.
In his response, the actor denied all the allegations levelled on him. This is what he had to say, “I just held her hand to guide the way around the lake. I apologized because they said she wouldn’t make a fuss about it, but it doesn’t mean that I admit the charges.” An official from the Suwon district prosecutor’s office told AFP on Friday that “everything reported by local media concerning Oh’s case is not factually correct.” he said.
After the report has been revealed, it is uncertain if Oh Yeong Su would would return to work in the 2nd season of Squid Game. However, there are no comments from Netflix as of now.
