Sunny Deol and Anil Sharma’s Gadar 2 (2023) made a huge impact with its thrilling action and story. Given its phenomenal success, there’s been talk of a sequel.

Anil Sharma Teases Gadar 3; Describes It as “An Atomic Bomb of Emotions”
In a recent interview with Rajasthan Patrika, Anil Sharma provided an update on Gadar 3, revealing, “We’re currently developing the storyline for Gadar 3. Previously, I mentioned that Gadar 2 would be made when I had an emotional ‘bomb’ to share. Now, I aim for Gadar 3 to be an emotional ‘atomic bomb.’”
In another chat with Pinkvilla, Sharma mentioned that he is concentrating on Vanvaas at the moment and plans to start work on Gadar 3 after completing it. He described Vanvaas as a contemporary “emotional Gadar,” continuing the family-oriented theme of his earlier successful films like Shradhanjali, Bandhan Kuchchey Dhaagon Ka, and Apne.
Sharma also revealed that Vanvaas, set in Banaras and revolving around the Kumbh, will offer an emotionally rich narrative that viewers will connect with. He assured that the film will be out before the year’s end, paving the way for him to focus on Gadar 3.
Previously, Sharma mentioned that his writing team is deeply involved in crafting ideas for the third installment, which will expand on the Indo-Pak conflict theme of the earlier films but with even greater stakes.
Sources close to the project indicate that Sharma and his co-writer Shaktimaan developed the concept during their discussions. Additionally, Sharma confirmed that Tara Singh will return for the next chapter.
