The ongoing Johnny Depp and Amber Heard battle has seen many up and down in he recent past. There were some concerns being made about makers cutting short her role in the upcoming sequel.

DC Films Head Walter Hamada earlier pointed out that Heard had a lack of chemistry with her co-star Jason Momoa. And probably this was the reason why they had done so.

But now, there is a twist in the above story as ‘Aquaman 2’ Actor Dolph Lundgren has come out in the middle and made positive comments about Amber Heard.

According to Lundgren, his experience of working with Heard in the upcoming “Aquaman” sequel titled Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.”

It all happened due to the ongoing trial between Amber Heard and her ex husband Johnny Depp. There were some speculation that she was almost replaced on the “Aquaman” sequel.

Lundgren has now made some positive remarks who said that he had previously worked with Heard and she was terrific.

He told this to Redline Steel CEO Colin Wayne. This is what he said, “She’s terrific, I had a great experience with her. She’s very kind, nice to the crew, nice to everybody, just down to Earth. She had her newborn baby with her on set with the nanny which was kind of cute.” he stated.

Lundgren is going to play the role of King Nereus in the upcoming ‘Aquaman” films sequel. On the other hand Heard will have to play the role of his daughter named Mera.

It was Heard who pointed out that it was due to her ongoing trial with her ex husband Johnny Depp that Warner Bros. “didn’t want to include” her in “Aquaman 2″. In her statement, Amber Heard said that she was willingly trying to film the upcoming “Aquaman” sequel until Johnny Depp’s team called her a liar after she made abusive remarks on him.

Heard made a point that the makers had almost stopped the communications at that very point. And it was right after that her role in the film became a “a very pared-down version.”

“I was given a script and then given new versions of the script that had taken away scenes that had action in it, that depicted my character and another character, without giving any spoiler always, two characters fighting with one another, and they basically took a bunch out of my role,” Heard said. “They just removed a bunch out.”

As per the reports coming in, Amber Heard will be playing the role for 10 minutes in the upcoming “Aquaman” sequel. Lundgren’s support for Heard’s set behavior comes as the viral online petition to remove Heard from “Aquaman 2” nears 4.5 million signatures.

The upcoming sequel titled “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” is slated to hit theatres on March 17, 2023.
