we see quite often that makers intend to release music album of a film before releasing its trailer. But this time, it was quite different happened in Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Atrangi Re. The trailer of the film was launched long before the album.
The reason why music album of Atrangi Re is being highly advocated by makers is because it’s composed by AR Rahman who will also remain present along with Dhanush, Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar.
The upcoming musical romantic drama has already released a track ‘Chaka Chak’ which is proving to be a hit. Looking at the trend, makers have decided to unleash the music album tomorrow (December 6) where the audience will come to know more about some other soulful tracks of the album.
The film has been directed by Aanand L Rai and fans must be keeping their patience to find what’s there inside the album.
While teasing the event, Akshay Kumar announced that Rahman will be live at the album’s launch. It will stream live on YouTube tomorrow at 7 PM onward. The music album also has contributions by Irshad Kamil along with AR Rahman, who has originally penned the lyrics of the songs.
Atrangi Re music album to be launched tomorrow
It all happened on December 5 when Akshay Kumar first dropped a monochrome poster with a picture of AR Rahman. He captioned the picture “A musical evening with Rahman”. The poster itself unleashed the poster with its launch date and live streaming time as well.

The above announcement happened right after unleashing the film;s first soulful song titled Chaka Chak. The track showcased Sara who’s seen flaunting her dance moves. Akshay Kumar’s upcoming love story titled ‘Atrangi Re’ will also feature Dhanush who’s seen courting Sara Ali Khan
The film shows how Sara is caught between two different worlds. The upcoming musical drama simply showcases South star Dhanush in an innocent aatar. Likewise, Akshay will be seen in his traditional dreamlike character. And Sara chooses to strike a balance between the two.
As per report, the film is expected to release on December 24 via OTT platform named Disney+ Hotstar.
