Adipurush hit screens on June 16, 2023. After having a fantastic first week, the film continues to have a harrowing time at the box office.

After looking at the film’s decline in terms of collections, the makers even slashed the ticket price to Rs 112 per ticket. But it looks like it also failed to attract the audience back to theatres.

On Monday, Adipurush registered its lowest box office collection which makes us feel like there is no return of Prabhas starrer from this week.

To be precise, you can say Adipurush is slowly inching towards a major disaster by making collection of Rs 450 crore

It was on June 16, 2023 when Adipurush hit the big screens. The film was released in as many as 5 languages amid huge expectations. This is why the film managed to post a good number at the box office in its first week.

However, within a few days, the film started getting mixed reviews both from the audience as well as critics.

In a span of 3 days, the film managed to grab Rs 300 crore. But after the opening weekend passed, its collection declined.

The film’s collection was at its lowest on June, 26 (Monday). As per the box office report, the film managed to collect only RS 1.75 crore Nett in India which is way too less than Rs 6 crore that it collected on Sunday.

After a span of 11 days, Adipurush is known to have raked in Rs 277.50 crore on the domestic box office. In terms of occupancy in Hindi version, it was 8.06%.

All About Adipurush

Adipurush is written and directed by Om Raut. It’s basically a Hindi mythological film which is based on Valmiki’s Ramayana. The Prabhas starrer has also been shot in Telugu and Hindi.

It’s made on a whopping budget of Rs 500 crore starring Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Prabhas, and others.

Prabhas plays the role of Raghav while Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon were featured Lankesh and Janaki.
