In Luv Films’ upcoming Marathi movie Devmanus, Sai Tamhankar looks keen to showcase her acting skills, making her Lavani debut with the energetic track titled ‘Aalech Mi’.
The film, produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, also stars an impressive line-up including Siddharth Bodke, Subodh Bhave, and Mahesh Manjrekar.
In the presence of some great star cast, Sai Tamhankar steps into the spotlight with her first-ever performance in a classic Maharashtrian Lavani.
Sai Tamhankar Marks Lavani Debut In Devmanus Track ‘Aalech Mi
‘Aalech Mi’ is brought to life by none other than Rohan-Rohan, with vocals delivered by Bela Shende, celebrated for her work in Marathi folk and classical genres.
On the other hand, the lyrics are penned by director Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, with Rohan Gokhale offering additional input. Choreographed by Ashish Patil, the song combines dynamic rhythms with traditional folk-inspired dance moves.
Sai Tamhankar earlier decided to invest as many as 33 hours to rehearsing for the performance. Reflecting on her debut Lavani experience, she said, “It has been an extraordinary journey to perform Lavani for the first time in Devmanus! It shows a different aspect of me, and I truly relished every moment. The song has such an infectious rhythm, and as soon as I heard it, I was thrilled to dance to it.”

Now available online, the track is quickly gaining attention in all respects. Directed by Vijay Deoskar, Tejas Prabha and presented by Luv Films, the movie is slated to hit the big screen on April 25, 2025.
