A drug racket has been busted by NCB on a cruise where a rave party was already going on. The officials of NCB seized several banned drugs from their captivity including ecstasy, mephedrone and cocaine.
On Sunday, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has nabbed eight people from the illegal possession of drugs like ecstasy, mephedrone and cocaine. These are the banned drugs and may land anyone in jail. All the eight persons including SRK’s son Aryan Khan have been detained for a detailed questioning.
As per the information, the detained people are known to have links with the so called high society people are were involved in a rave party that was being organized in a cruise.
Apart from Khan, others who are being investigated from their alleged role include Arbaaz Merchant, Gomit Chopra, Vikrant Chhoker, Mohak Jaswal, Ismeet Singh, Nupur Sarika and Dhamecha.
An officer on duty stated that their statements are being recoded under section 67 of the Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) and Narcotic Drugs Act. It’s only after that the future course of action will be taken.
As per an NCB official, Aryan Khan is among those who has been detained but his role is still being investigated.
It all happened when NCB sleuths received a crucial information that a rave party is being organized in a passenger cruise ship that was about to leave Goa on Saturday evening. The participants had to board the cruise to book tickets as passengers.
As per the information, as soon as the cruise left Mumbai, people on board started allegedly consuming banned drugs and the NCB official team reached there and caught them red-handed.
Afterwards, the caption of the cruise was asked to halt the ship at some other location at Ballard pier situated in South Mumbai.
