Amid Covid-19 pandemic, many film makers continue to hesitate releasing their films on theaters. In the recent past, cinema lovers have got all they could have in the form of films like Karnan, Master, Sulthan and many others on big screens.
In such a situation, especially when all the above mentioned films are fairing well at the moment, it forced the makers to skip theatrical release of their films. The latest film to join the above trend is Vijay Sethupathi starrer ‘Tughlaq Durbar’.
All this happened as the makers are currently unable to find a suitable date to release the film on the silver screen. Considering this, they have now decided to release it directly on the OTT platforms.

Right after the film was announced, it immediately created a media hype as it displays the dark and light shades of Vijay Sethupathi. To be precise, the ace actor will be playing the role of a politician which is directed by Delhi Prasad Deenadayalan.
‘Tughlaq Durbar’ is known to be released directly on HotStar. While Sethupathi will be featured in two different shades, Parthiban also plays a crucial role. As per the update, Raashi Khanna will be seen opposite Sethupathi. On the other hand, Manjima Mohan will be seen playing a supporting role in the film.
Right now, fans are looking disheartened after the makers have decided to release the film directly on the OTT platform. It’s because they were expecting the film to be released in theaters.
