Hundreds of theatres owners have welcomed the decision of the Master’s crew to release the film on the big screen instead of OTT platforms.
Master starring Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi is one of the most awaited films of the year so far. In this Tamil language film, Vijay Sethupathi will be seen playing the role of an antagonist.

Although, theatres in the state have re-opened by the instructions from the Tamil Nadu (TN) government, there are so many restrictions that people need to follow before they are allowed to enter into the cinema halls. All these measures are being take to ensure the safety of citizens from COVID-19 pandemic.

If we talk about theatre owners, they have no option but to bear huge loss due to the pandemic. Even if movie halls have re-opened, there is a list of SOP’s (guidelines) that need for them to be followed.
In such a situation, theatre users are expressing a sigh of relief after the Master team decided to release the film in theatres. Sridhar, who is the joint secretary of the organization says, “The Tamil Nadu Theatre Owners Association offers its heartfelt thanks to the producers of Master for their decision to release the film in theatres.”
